Npower Batch C Exit – What Happens To Stream 1 After Npower?
In one of the latest Npowernews updates, we talked about the exit date for the Npower batch C stream 1 beneficiaries, if you missed the update you can read it here Npower Batch C Stream 1 Exiting Date News.
It is no longer news that disengagement is part of the Npower Programme as that is part of the rules of beneficiaries’ engagement. It was clearly stated that beneficiaries of the Npower Programme will be enrolled to serve for 1 year and then give way for new beneficiaries to be recruited.
However, the good news is that after disengagement, qualified beneficiaries can still apply for a new scheme called Nexit Programme as a Npower-exited beneficiary.
The Nexit Programme is an Initiative of the Federal Government in collaboration with the CBN to empower exited Npower volunteers by assisting them with business training and loan to start or grow their businesses.
Before the flag-off of the Nexit Scheme in 2021, the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, disaster management, and social development Sadiya Umar Farouq said that they are setting up concrete measures so that exited Npower beneficiaries can make a transit to the Nexit program.
In view of the above, if the Nexit program becomes a reality, qualified disengaged Npower batch C volunteers might also benefit from the Nexit Scheme.
