Beneficiaries of the N-Power scheme have not been paid their September 2019 stipends, five days into another month, October, Concise News reports.
The N-Power beneficiaries, Concise News reports, are angry with handlers of the scheme for not paying their stipends.
There have been delays in the payment of N-Power stipends in recent months with beneficiaries calling on the handlers of the social investment scheme to do better.
No official statement has been issued yet on the continued delay in the payment of the September 2019 stipends to beneficiaries.
Beneficiaries of the scheme are paid N30, 000 (82.99 USD) monthly with the Federal Government adding that is spent N15 billion as stipends on over 500,000 volunteers of the N-Power scheme.
Dubbed as the largest post-tertiary employment programme in Africa, the Muhammadu Buhari government sees the scheme as one of its major achievements.
Beneficiaries do not need high-wire connections as the screening process was largely transparent and efficient.
