The social media network of the Federal Government’s N-Power scheme has been ‘bombarded’ by beneficiaries who continue to demand their October stipend.
Concise News observed that many volunteers of the component of the National Social Investment Programmes (NSIP) have stormed the official Twitter and Facebook pages of the scheme to ask that they are paid the money owed.
Introduced in 2016 by President Muhammadu Buhari, the N-Power Programme is a graduate and non-graduate job enhancement scheme.
The objective is to enable them acquire the requisite skills, knowledge and experience for entrepreneurship and self sufficiency at the culmination of their tenure on the programme.
The N-Power beneficiaries are then provided with N30, 000 (approximately 83 US Dollars) monthly stipend and devices to aid their learning and skills development.

When will wickedness or evil end in this country?
Today is 25th Nov 2019 and @npower_ng is yet to pay October stipend
And we want to reduce crime and improve citizen standard of living? This is evil.@MBuhari @ProfOsinbajo @npower_ng @Ayourb @ogundamisi

You are so unprofessional in dealing with the volunteers. Why can’t you address the issue of non payment of stipend? Why being quiet as if the volunteers are animals. The least u could have done is to issue statement on the delay of stipend to at least douse the fears of volunteers
