Beneficiaries of the federal government empowerment scheme N-Power who were “secretly” disengaged will stage a peaceful demonstration in Abuja, Friday, July 5th, 2019.

The affected beneficiaries told this news medium that the demonstration is part of measures to get the attention of the government and Nigerians to their plight.

They noted that the N-Power has been their source of livelihood, lamenting that if disengaged, their lives will be badly affected.

Concise News had reported that the beneficiaries affected by the development, noted they “woke up” only to be notified that they have resigned from the programme.

One of those affected, Muhammed Malami, said that he was “resigned” from the scheme since April.

According to him, he had sent a mail to N-Power but was told that his details were sketchy for the issue to be addressed then.
