N-Power October Stipend: Beneficiaries Send ‘Heartfelt’ Messages To Buhari Govt
Beneficiaries of the Federal Government’s N-Power scheme are asking President Muhammadu Buhari to intervene in the situation of their unpaid October stipend.
With the eleventh month of the year gradually winding down, approximately 500, 000 graduate volunteers are yet to be paid their N30, 000 (around 83 US Dollars) monthly stipend, a situation that had left them disgruntled. Read more here.
N-Power October Stipend: Beneficiaries Set For Protest Over Payment
Beneficiaries of the N-Power programme are set a protest following the delay in the payment of their October 2019 stipend.
This is the 20th day of November with beneficiaries not getting their payment for October.
The development has, however, caused apprehension among the beneficiaries who are now planning on going for a protest.
A post sighted by this reporter on the popular Nairaland forum noted that the beneficiaries are pissed off about the situation and are mobilising to protest the unpaid stipend for October. Read more here.
