Buhari’s Adviser Speaks On Reported N30b Budget For N-Power, Others In 2020
The Special Adviser to the President on Social Investments, Mrs Maryam Uwais, on Saturday said that the Federal Government did not budget N30 billion for Social Investment Programmes (SIPs) in 2020.
She denied media reports claiming that N30 billion was proposed instead of the N500 billion benchmark for the N-SIP since 2016.
The Communication Manager, National Social Investment Office, Justice Bibiye, quoted Mrs. Uwais as saying that nothing has changed in the budgeting cycle as regards the Social Investment Programmes. Read more here.
N-Power: Check Out Update On Distribution Of Items To Beneficiaries
All Alimosho – Lagos beneficiaries of the Federal Government’s N-Power scheme who are yet to receive their vest and cap have been told to go with their profile page to collect it.
A message disseminated by Abanikanda Isma’eel, the representative for N-Power in Alimosho Local Government Area of the State of Excellence indicates that distribution of the clothing has been extended to Friday 25th of October, 2019 at Agege. Read more here.
